Rust is a concern for every car owner. Thousands of dollars are spent on special coating and protective seals to prevent rust. However, all of this is a waste of money if you neglect one simple task. One of the best things that you can do to prevent rust is to wash your car on a regular basis.

When pollutants, bird droppings, bugs, acid rain, and mud are left to sit on our car, they eventually react with the coatings and will eat through to your paint. This will cause the paint to dull and rust to develop. Even if you have coatings, this might be delayed, but it will still happen over time. Heat makes degradation happen even faster.

Bob Utter Lincoln wants you to know that washing your car about once every one or two weeks is one of the best ways to keep your car looking new and rust-free for as long as possible.
